Packaging Designer

Position Overview
The Packaging Designer will be responsible for supporting the creative packaging structure/design solutions for IT products in various phases of design. This role is a onsite, 6-month contract. You must have a portfolio to be considered! 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product concepts and designs.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design, to create high-quality renderings and visualizations.
• Produce 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software for design presentations.
• Conduct research on materials and printing techniques to inform packaging design.
• Create and maintain design documentation and specifications for production.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout the design process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, 3D animation/Modeling, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design) and CAD software.
• Strong skills in rendering, visualization, and image editing.
• Experience with packaging design and understanding of package structure.
• Familiarity with materials and printing processes.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
