Do you enjoy working with children and teens exploring the natural world in an outdoor environment? Bring your energy, creativity and patience and join our team for Tacoma Nature Center Day Camp! This position is responsible for planning and teaching lessons in a fun and engaging manner while ensuring safety and being actively involved with children. You will collaborate with staff, interns and teen volunteers, in addition to interacting with parents/guardians in a professional manner, with other duties as assigned. Nature Day Camp Instructors are responsible for developing and teaching environmentally focused curriculum both inside and in an outdoor environment to children ages 4-12. The qualified candidate may also assist with other education programming.
