About the Position:

The National Field Training Manager is responsible for assisting in the development and facilitation for both new hire and ongoing training to a Momentum Field Nurse Educator team. This role will support the implementation of training content and initiatives for Momentum and client. They will assist and collaborate with client field managers, other client field partners, and Momentum cross-functional teams to implement new hire FNE training, refresher training and any other identified ongoing training needs. This would include working with Momentum & Client training departments to develop comprehensive training and refresher programs for the team, working with managers to identify individual team needs and developmental areas, identify training gaps and initiating a training plan to address and align teams. Additionally, the role will attend industry and advocacy events to represent Momentum and client nursing support.

Essential Functions:

  • Act as subject matter expert in product/program/disease state, HCP and patient engagements, system, programs, and processes

  • Assist incoordination of new hire training and refresher training for the team

  • On going collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders, including Momentum training team, client field nurse educator (FNE) Managers, Client Solutions, and client leadership to ensure training content is relevant and up to date

  • Conduct field visits with FNEs observing, identifying coaching needs, and communicating this to the FNE Manager

  • If training needs are identified, lead efforts to create, gain proper approval (internally and externally) and facilitate training

  • Manage agendas and curriculum within learning platforms in partnership with Momentum training team

  • Conduct (internal) field calibrations, participate in monthly client call calibrations, to identify training opportunities, and proactively communicate across all levels of the organization

  • Partnership with client FNE Managers to address training gaps and initiate plans and curriculum to ensure alignment

  • Foster the Momentum culture within the team to inspire and motivate and develop positive team norms as it relates to company culture, behaviors, and performance

  • Train FNEs to improve their confidence and performance in program/system knowledge base by observing them on field and virtual engagements assessing their needs and completing appropriate coaching and training

  • Maintain and be intimately familiar with all client's operational practices and procedures and ensure compliance and quality standards

  • Assist in performing quality audits on the FNEs interaction to ensure adherence and compliance to best practices

  • Document, update, and maintain all content within Momentum Learning Management Systems

  • Participate in project and system testing and requirements

  • Monitor team feedback and collect vital insights to assist in overall goals and initiatives

  • Expert in troubleshooting IT and systems issues

Required Skills:

  • Ability to lead with a positive and forward-thinking perspective while assisting in training, onboarding, and mentoring team members

  • Effective communication style with a history of success in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability and commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and Nurse Educators

  • Able to communicate professionally, effectively, and timely in a multi-channel environment (field, virtual, digital)

  • Ability to work with different personalities and adjust training and coaching as needed

  • Can provide clear and effective leadership, coaching, and feedback to internal and external customers

  • Self-motivation can motivate others and has a strong desire to empower others towards personal and professional growth opportunities

  • Experience with being held accountable to metrics and maintaining a high standard of work in a real-time interactive environment

  • Experienced in Salesforce, Power BI, and other programs essential to success in this role

  • Compassion, high emotional intelligence, and a passion to be a patient advocate

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license with 3+ years of clinical experience

  • Previous experience in a clinical leadership and/or training role in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience in developing training materials

  • Understands the pharmaceutical industry as it relates to the clinical educator role.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and grit

  • Experience using multiple software applications within a multiple-screen environment including Microsoft products

  • Ability to utilize reporting and data to develop training plans and coach appropriate behaviors

Special Position Requirements:

Travel:

  • Up to 50% Travel

Working Conditions:

Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Ability to communicate effectively (hear, listen, speak) with or without reasonable accommodations.
