As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will play a key role in supporting the product maintenance and development for Tilt-tray and Cross-belt sorters as a part of our Lifecycle Support Services team. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful execution of LSS projects. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and performance of our sortation systems, contributing to the success of our customers and the growth of our business.
You will report directly to our Engineering Supervisor and you'll work out of our Intelligrated Headquarters in Mason, OH on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems for Tilt-tray and Cross-belt sorters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the Tilt-tray and Cross-belt product.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful execution of Lifecycle Support Services projects; Assist field service personnel with site support and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Supervisor and other team members to design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems for Tilt-tray and Cross-belt sorters.
- Conduct feasibility studies, perform lifecycle testing, and analyze technical requirements to support sourcing and sales initiatives.
- Create Technical Service Bulletins, help guides, and retrofit documentation
- Perform test equipment setup and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in mechanical design software (Solidworks and AutoCad strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of successful product development and/or project implementation
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
