Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Intern for the Materials & Processing Engineering Materials lab to perform a wide variety of tasks. This person will have a special project to develop a job tracker to manage and organize lab work using Microsoft excel or other common Microsoft tools. Part of the special project will be creating a live view of the tracker for real time display of work. The person will also create a marketing slideshow of lab capabilities to be displayed continuously in the lab. In addition to this, the person will be performing hands-on laboratory work with equipment and tools similar to carpentry work, auto-maintenance, etc. This person must be customer service oriented and work well as a team. Must be a US citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a technical degree in related discipline
- Hands-on with variety of equipment
- Familiarization with OSHA safety procedures
- Client-focused
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
- Team player
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of performing assembly and repairs using basic tools
- Basic knowledge with laboratory equipment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
