Honeywell's ACST team is seeking aMaterials Coordinator for ourPlymouth, MNlocation. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our materials research efforts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in materials science and engineering, specializing in the development and application of innovative material solutions. This leadership role will involve managing a team of engineers and researchers, driving projects from conception to implementation, and ensuring that practices are aligned with the latest advancements in material technologies.
The annual base salary for this position is $59,100.00 - $88,700.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is overtime eligible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the day-to-day equipment needs and operations for the training team while ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
- Direct and manage the acquisition of materials and equipment through the procurement process to disposition across multiple locations including inventory development and control, occasional minor maintenance, and storage including progress tracking with multiple internal groups and external vendors.
- Prepare, set-up, and clean up materials and A/V for classes, occasionally aid content creators and SMEs in the deployment of equipment in classes.
- Attend classes as a support, as needed.
- Lead weekly material meetings and follow-up with stakeholders throughout the week to ensure team equipment needs are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 2+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or logistics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication
- Experienced with data base systems (Microsoft)
WHAT WE VALUE:
- AA (or higher) in an engineering or physical science discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing an equipment inventory in an instructional or dry laboratory.
- Experience working within safety regulations.
- Able to create and follow standardized routines and follow SOPs.
- Able to interpret instructions and translate them into effective actions.
- Able to work within an environment with rapidly changing timelines and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including collaborating with colleagues with a variety of job functions across multiple geographical locations. Open to receiving direction and feedback from various individuals.
- Preferred: Proficiency in spreadsheet (MS Excel) and/or database management (SQL, MS Access).
- Preferred: Experience setting up equipment for lab classes in a range of topics.
