Our well-known healthcare client is seeking a Marketing Specialist.
This role is:
- Hybrid onsite 2 days/week, 3 days remote
- 30 - 40 hours/week, will fluctuate
- Standard working hours, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. CST
- 8+ Months
In this role, you will be involved in driving new membership/sales growth for their healthcare products. You will be part of a team that develops strategies and tactical plans, that support acquisition marketing efforts, that in turn acquire new healthcare members.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Working directly with cross-functional team members, you will assist with developing and executing consumer-facing communications that support the brand, product, campaign, and marketing objectives.
- Prioritize work, assign tasks and manage resources to balance workload and maximize efficiency within the team.
- Proof marketing materials for multiple direct mail campaigns, to ensure product specifics are accurate and disclaimers are populated correctly. Proofing will also involve the review of the layout, spacing, colors, and general look of the materials to ensure they are created correctly.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns based on product strategy, while maintaining brand standards
- Track sales data and prepare reports
- Assist in the creation of direct mail materials and work closely with the team that executes on the campaigns
- Manage the day-to-day tactical requests from internal partners (marketing, creative, legal, regulatory, product) and key stakeholders to support a variety of consumer marketing campaigns
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years' of experience in marketing and marketing project management experience
- Experience proofreading a wide variety of materials is key, both from a brand standards and compliance perspective.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Previous healthcare industry experience is a huge plus
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel - it's a tool used often in this team!
- Experience working in a larger company / matrixed organization
- Experience / able to work cross-functionally amongst different teams, including marketing, creative, legal, compliance, their agencies of record, etc.
- Previous experience proofing detailed marketing materials to confirm accuracy, layout and brand standards
- Familiar / experience within direct mail, coordination and project management
- Experience with reporting, assisting with process improvement, and understanding the impacts of regulatory rules are all important
- Detail oriented, organized, adaptable to rapidly changing environments
- Can identify and develop solutions to non-standard requests, and solve complex problems with the team
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
