Our Manufacturing client is searching for a Marketing Specialist to join their team. This role is onsite in Austin, TX.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) for multiple equipment manufacturing companies under company umbrella
- Create and schedule engaging content that resonates with target audiences and promotes the company's products and services.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and foster online engagement with followers and industry influencers.
- Analyze social media performance and adjust strategies to optimize reach and engagement.
Content Creation:
- Write and publish compelling blogs, articles, and case studies that reflect the expertise and offerings of each company.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.
- Work with product and sales teams to identify key topics and create relevant content that supports marketing objectives.
Event and Conference Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing for industry events, trade shows, and conferences, including event logistics, booth setup, and promotional materials.
- Manage event calendars, registrations, and follow-up communications.
- Represent company at events, ensuring a professional and engaging presence.
Email Marketing:
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to promote products, services, and events.
- Create and maintain segmented email lists for targeted marketing initiatives.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of email campaigns, adjusting strategies to improve open rates and conversions.
Website Management:
- Update and maintain company websites, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to improve website functionality, user experience, and SEO performance.
- Ensure websites are regularly optimized for search engines to improve visibility and drive traffic.
Campaign Analytics and Reporting:
- Track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives using Google Analytics, social media insights, and other tools.
- Provide regular reports on the performance of social media, content, email marketing, and events.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement improvements for future marketing activities.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with sales, product development, and senior management to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and industry partners as needed to support marketing initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive activities, and new marketing technologies.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B or industrial equipment sectors.
- Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts and developing content strategies.
- Experience in event planning and execution.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.) and CMS tools (WordPress or similar).
- Experience in the manufacturing or equipment industry preferred.
- Familiarity with PPC advertising and paid social campaigns preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and deadlines.
