Our association client is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a temp to hire contract working hybrid, onsite in Bethesda every Wednesday. This role has the opportunity to convert to a full time position.
The Marketing Coordinator will support multi-channel marketing campaigns, heavily support social media and email newsletters.
Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate marketing efforts across projects, working with the Senior Director of Marketing to execute.
- Work within Hootsuite to manage social media campaigns including content creation and management.
- Write and deploy email newsletters monthly, reviewing for errors and optimizing where applicable.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to request and review marketing collateral.
- Maintain project status updates within project management tool, WorkZone.
- Follow all marketing procedures related to content development, deployment and management.
Marketing Coordinator Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and ideally, Minimum 1 year of professional work experience.
- Strong marketing skills, ideally prior experience supporting email newsletters and social media campaigns.
- Experience working within a marketing tool to schedule and deploy content.
- Background working in a Project Management tool (WorkZone) and content management system.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
