Machinist Level 1



As a Machinist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations at our Tempe, Arizona location. You will be accountable for operating and maintaining various machining equipment to produce high-quality parts and components. Your attention to detail and technical skills will contribute to the success of our production processes and the overall growth of our business.

You will report directly to our Machinist Supervisor and you'll work out of our Tempe, Arizona location on a work schedule.

In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by ensuring the efficient and accurate production of parts and components. You will work with a team of skilled machinists and work with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Operate and maintain various machining equipment to produce high-quality parts and components
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
* Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements

YOU MUST HAVE


* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a machinist or in a similar role
* Proficiency in operating and maintaining machining equipment
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  * Experience with CNC machines
