As a Logistics Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in
optimizing the end-to-end logistics operations. You will be responsible for
coordinating transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure
efficient supply chain operations and give Honeywell a competitive edge in the
market. With your expertise in logistics management and strong analytical
skills, you will develop strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and customer
satisfaction.
You will report directly to our Logistics Supervisor,
and you'll work out of our Rosemont, Illinois location on a hybrid work
schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by streamlining logistics processes,
reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Your ability to analyze
data, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions will
contribute to the success of our logistics operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement to delivery, ensuring on-time and accurate order fulfillment.
- Optimize transportation routes, modes, and carriers to minimize costs while meeting delivery timelines.
- Validate freight charges to ensure cost effectiveness and accuracy. Verify and process freight invoices.
- Collaborate with cross functional departments to execute deliverables, day-to-day tasks, and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to establish strong partnerships and streamline operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards for hazardous shipping regulations under IATA, IMDG and DOT.
- Ensure compliance with all U.S. export regulation and specific country requirements of each destination.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Preparation of international documentation such as customs invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, shipper's letter of instruction, inland bill of lading, and any other required documentation for transportation.

the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when

The annual base salary range for this position is $59000.00 - $76000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE
- 3+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong Knowledge of all transportation modes: sea, air, road and rail, LCL, FCL, & Special Equipment.
- Strong Knowledge of warehousing, and inventory management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using logistics management software and tools.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
