Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Logistics Account Director in Livermore to grow Schneider's customer base and maximize customer satisfaction by overseeing service performance, staffing, carrier selection, pricing, continuous improvement and more. The Logistics Account Director will also lead a team of logistics managers.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to the account management team.
Identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales from new and existing accounts to exceed business revenue goals.
Develop business strategies and plans for customers' logistics needs.
Build strong working relationships with customers, carriers and shippers.
Provide new ideas for logistics strategies.
Facilitate regular meetings with customers and internal teams to evaluate performance.
Work with internal teams to ensure customers' expectations are clearly communicated.

Skills and qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, transportation, logistics or related field.
A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent leadership skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
