As a Lead Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a key member of our Alternative Navigation team based in Plymouth, Minnesota. In this role, you will lead and execute complex projects related to alternative navigation systems, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and execute complex projects related to alternative navigation systems
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in alternative navigation solutions
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in navigation systems
- Proven experience in leading and executing complex projects
- Excellent project management and organizational skills

- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to avionics and navigation systems
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The annual base salary range for this position is $130k - $163k. This position is incentive-eligible. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
