Executive Assistant to the CEO of
Advanced Materials
In October, 2024 Honeywell announced
the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone
publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this
role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this
future transaction when the separation occurs.
As an Executive Assistant to the CEO of Advanced Materials here at Honeywell,
you will play a critical role in supporting the CEO and the leadership team in
driving the success of the business unit. You will be responsible for managing
the CEO's schedule, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, and handling
confidential information with discretion. You will report directly to the CEO
and work out of our Advanced Materials headquarters in Morris Plains, NJ.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the CEO and
gain exposure to the strategic decision-making process. You will contribute to
the success of the business unit by providing high-level administrative support
and ensuring the smooth operation of the CEO's office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the CEO's calendar and schedule, including coordinating meetings and appointments
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, presentations, and other materials
- Handle complex travel arrangements, expenses and logistics for the CEO
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it with discretion
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents
- Conduct research and gather information to support the CEO's decision-making process
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, and partners
- Collaborate with other executive assistants and administrative staff to ensure
efficient operation of the CEO's office

YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years' experience as an executive assistant or similar role supporting C-level executives
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- The candidate
must be accessible and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and
weekends when needed.
