BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing.
- Clearance Required: you must either currently have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA/MS) may be advantageous.
- 5+ years of experience of engineering in launching and stabilizing new processes and products.
- Proven experience in new program implementation, process optimization, and improving production efficiency within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, PLM, ERP systems).
- Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles, including Six Sigma principles, such as DMAIC analysis.
PREFERRED
- Master's degree in engineering or a related field
- Green Belt, Black Belt, DFSS, Lean certification. Demonstrated experience in solving problems using six sigma techniques.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Wide experience supporting critical manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions.
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in advanced manufacturing
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
