SUMMARY:
The Inventory Coordinator must follow all warehouse safety, Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety rules and regulations. Documentation and paperwork procedures must be followed as well as verbal and written instructions and guidelines according to the job requirements. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for conducting cycles counts on all finished goods following cycle count SOP. Strong knowledge of paperwork flow from receiving materials, continuing through the tagging and receipt of goods in our operating system is required. The Inventory Coordinator will cross train with Shipper Receiver to assist when needed. This role does not have direct reports.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the safety policies, OSHA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Manage cycle count process on all finished goods.
• Manage all Hold inventory and work closely with Quality Assurance on disposition.
• Research and communicate inventory issues and concerns immediately.
• Update inventory system in a timely manner (D365).
• Manage and analyze finish goods inventory (FIFO).
• Maintain the Batch Management / Product Tracing process.
• Manage CHEP pallet inventory.
• Ability to work in OTM effectively.
• Act as the liaison between planning, logistics, finance and production on various shifts.
• Identify, utilize and manage information to create a competitive advantage and build a knowledge base of the business.
• Perform all TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities required.
• Follow all safety rules to include but not limited to LOTO and keep area clean and in orderly condition.
• Responsible for food product quality and safety.



EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• Associate degree in business field preferred



EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2 years’ experience within a food processing, bottling, liquid filling/blending and/or consumer goods manufacturing/packing environment preferred.
• 1 year experience in related field
• Strong knowledge of computer systems including MS Office, WMS and ERP programs. Ability to learn new job-related software.
• Advanced mathematics skills required (counting accuracy, excel formulas etc.).
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy required.
• Must be respectful and work well with all levels of personnel.
• Great work attitude, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work overtime on short notice basis. Long-term, temporary assignments to any shift may be required to maintain manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work in high temperatures (hot or cold), working at heights and exposure to strong smells, dust, gases, fumes and chemical or require personal protective equipment.
• Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical aspects of the job as performed in an 8-hour workday.
• Must be able to see, sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, reach, bend, twist, ascend/ descend.
• Ability to pull, push, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., 50+ lbs. with assistance.
