Northrop Grumman is currently seeking an Industrial Security Analyst - Level 3 or 4, to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. This position can be filled at either a Level 3 or 4.
In this job, you will:

• Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
• Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations
• Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
• Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials
• Conduct security education classes and security audits
• Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
• Be responsible for accurate data input into an access control database
• Maintain document control inventories
• Reconcile multiple databases for accuracy
• Provide briefings/debriefings to personnel for activities such as: new hires, terminations, foreign defensive travel
• Coordinate escort activities within closed area
• Interface with Program Management Team, Customer, and suppliers
• Write security operational plans for program implementation
• Be responsible for TS inventory and self-inspections
• Adapt to a fast paced and challenging work environment and must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
• Support the day- to-day security functions of multiple Special Access Programs (SAPs)
• Function as an CPSO
• Work with limited supervision and have the ability to make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions
• Be responsible for interpreting and applying manuals outlining regulations and establishing procedures for handling, storing, and maintenance of records and for granting personnel and visitors' access to restricted records and materials
• Be versed in COMSEC
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications - Level 3:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 3+ years of professional experience
• Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Proficient with NISS, DISS, JADE and SIMS
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
• Must have a working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manuals (5205.07), SAP Volumes 1-4
• Experience with COMSEC
• Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application
Basic Qualifications - Level 4:

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 6+ years of professional experience
• Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Proficient with NISS, DISS, JADE and SIMS
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
• Must have a working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manuals (5205.07), SAP Volumes 1-4
• Experience with COMSEC
• Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application
Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

• Possess a thorough understanding and working knowledge of NISPOM, DoDM 5205 series, and ICD security standards as well as OPSEC, personnel, industrial, physical, Information Security principles
• Understanding and familiarity of DD-254 Implementation Requirements
• Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe)

Salary Range: $82,900.00 - $124,300.00Salary Range 2: $103,200.00 - $154,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
