As a Reservations Supervisor at United Rentals, you will lead the Reservation Specialist Team by ensuring their duties are properly performed. You will do so by making sure commitments to customers are met, corporate policies and procedures are complied with and regularity requirements are followed. You will utilize your leadership skills to assist in developing and maintaining a goal oriented team.Sound challenging and fun? Additional duties include the following:
- Supervise the Reservation Specialist Team in their daily duties and support the Customer Care Management team
- Effective management of team to include KPIs
- Assist staff in resolving issues
- Assist with the measurement of job performance based on clearly understood common goals
- Collect and report monthly department statistics and assist in evaluating the teams' productivity
- Coordinate training and ensure compliance with all department processes and procedures, corporate policies, and relevant government regulations
- Support Customers that meet the criteria established for the Customer Care Reservation Specialist Team. Provide a second tier of problem resolution for the customer.
- Other duties assigned as needed
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or, industry experience of 5 years
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience or on the job and in house training
- Ability to effectively plan, organize, communicate, and delegate
- Good communication and math skills (abstract reasoning)
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SURI, and general office equipment
- Must be able to work any required hours
- Must be able to work under minimum supervision
- Occasional Traveling may be needed
