The Head of Sales Enablement will lead the strategy and execution of Wedgewood Pharmacy’s sales enablement initiatives, ensuring the sales organization is equipped to achieve and exceed revenue goals. This leader will work cross-functionally to optimize tools, training, processes, and content that empower the sales team to perform at their highest potential. The ideal candidate will have a vision for enabling a high-performing sales culture and a track record of success in building scalable enablement programs.
What you’ll do:
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and revenue targets.
- Partner with senior sales leadership to identify enablement priorities and ensure alignment across teams.
- Serve as a key advisor to the VP of Sales and Executive Leadership Team on sales effectiveness and enablement opportunities.
- Sales Training and Development
- Oversee the design and delivery of onboarding programs for new sales hires to accelerate productivity.
- Implement ongoing training initiatives to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and market expertise.
- Develop a culture of continuous learning through coaching, certifications, and personalized development plans.
- Sales messaging certifications - Challenger, Spin, Corp Visions, Command of the Message
- Training and certification on MEDDICC
- Enablement Tools and Technology
- Own the strategy and implementation of sales enablement technologies, including CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.
- Evaluate and introduce tools to enhance sales productivity, pipeline management, and customer engagement.
- Drive adoption of enablement tools through training and clear communication of value.
- Content and Resource Management
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure the creation of high-impact sales collateral and playbooks.
- Maintain a centralized repository for sales resources and ensure they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Develop tools and templates that support the sales process and improve efficiency.
- Performance Insights and Analytics
- Define key metrics to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs and their impact on sales performance.
- Analyze data to identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities within the sales process.
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to align goals and drive seamless collaboration.
- Represent the voice of the sales team in cross-functional discussions to ensure their needs are addressed.
- Partner with Customer Success to align on customer engagement strategies and improve the overall experience.

What you’ve done:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales leadership, or related roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical, technology or animal health industry.
- Proven ability to lead and scale sales enablement functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools (e.g. Gong).
- Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams.
