What You'll Do
Strategic technology alliances are a key new growth business for BCG progressing the way the firm meets the ever-evolving needs of clients and markets. To support that, BCG's Global Strategic Alliances team is seeking a strong candidate to engage across our partnership with Microsoft. Our ideal candidate will have relevant management consulting, project management, and business development experience to help advance and rigorously operationalize our strategic partnership. This role will work closely with the Microsoft partnership and account team, client as well as practice area teams to drive engagement as well as outcomes. This role sits inside the Alliances team working directly for Global Alliances leadership, with a dotted line relationship to our Microsoft leadership team.
The individual will work closely with BCG Managing Directors and Partners (MDPs) and other BCG teams supporting priority accounts and imperatives engaging the Microsoft partnership. The role will help to both align as well as execute program operating pillars supporting a balance of outcomes including enablement, brand build, commercial collaboration, and offering development to codify and scale best practices as well as outcomes. As BCG and Microsoft define and execute go-to-market propositions, this role will work to evangelize and engage those offers throughout BCG, while aligning to firm and practice area imperatives, Microsoft team priorities, as well as client opportunities.
This role provides direct leverage to leadership supporting the organization, strategy and development of the Microsoft center of excellence within BCG. In addition, there may be opportunities to engage other enterprise solutions partnerships that intersect with Microsoft across our ecosystem.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Program Management, Business Development, and Collaborative Go-To-Market:
- Thorough day-to-day PMO and oversight of deal pipeline between Microsoft and BCG
- Quickly identify and activate opportunities jointly with BCG and Microsoft counterparts
- Activist PMO to unblock challenges and unlock new opportunities as they arise
- Work with (non) technical teams at Microsoft and BCG to problem-solve challenges
- Initiation and activation of new joint use cases:
- Identify and shape opportunities for standardized offers of joint Microsoft and BCG services based on existing deals and POCs
- Drive development of world-class materials to promote use cases internally (w/in Microsoft and BCG) as well as externally
- Ongoing Management of Existing Alliance:
- Diligent tracking of outcomes and drive tracking and reporting across systems
- Ensure proper "tagging" of opportunities within CRM at Microsoft and BCG
What You'll Bring
- 6+ years of work experience in management consulting or business development - experience working for or with technology ecosystems, major cloud and enterprise business application providers a plus
- Strong, rigorously demonstrated project management and organizational skills are required
- Knowledge of, and interest in, industry trends, technology solutions, and digital products - including cloud, analytics, AI, and business applications
- Experience and relevant examples driving complex cross-functional stakeholder identification, cultivation and management to outcomes
- You are an excellent communicator e.g. written and verbal skills and able to communicate new ideas that garner stakeholder buy-in and support
- Strong demonstrated interpersonal skills operating as a trusted peer, advisor and team member
- Computer Science or Information Services Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
We expect total annualized compensation for Seattle employees to be approximately the following:
- Base salary between $120,000 - $146,000; placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
- Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-16%
- 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
