What You'll Do
The GenAI Product team focuses on delivering advanced AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer insights, and business decision-making.
As a Global Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and scaling GenAI products that align with business needs and user demands.
Your squad will be responsible for:
- Driving the roadmap for new GenAI products, focusing on business applications that create value for users.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define priorities and manage the product lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
- Testing and deploying GenAI-based tools to gather actionable insights and ensure product scalability.
- Developing strategies to improve product usability and adoption within the organization.
Among your responsibilities, you will:
- Deliver business results and customer value
- Deliver outcomes that support specific and measurable KPIs
- As a member of a GenAI squad work to continuously deliver customer value each sprint.
- Stand in as proxy Product Owner, as needed
- Serve as the voice of customer or end-user
- Translating the voice and needs of customer into user stories, engaging users as needed
- Engaging in continuous discovery (e.g., via surveys & interviews) to understand customer needs
- Leveraging empirical and qualitative data to assess feature performance and inform prioritization
- Analyzing tradeoffs involving customer value, cost, and effort.
- Representing customer needs to ensure they are understood and integrated into the Squad's work
- Proactively seeking customer feedback to learn and better understand their needs and requirements
- Facilitating product demos to empower Squad members with real-time feedback from customers
- Enable the organization's new way of working
- Modeling behaviors to support the organization's transformation to a new way of working
- Actively creating and maintaining a Squad culture based on the organization and Agile behaviors
- Providing informal and formal feedback within context of larger performance management system
- Oversee what is delivered by the Squad and when
- Prioritize work through a well-organized backlog of user stories and clearly communicate what needs to be done and by when
- Define and clearly communicate acceptance criteria for output based on business & customer needs
- Support and enable the Squad to effectively deliver
- Regularly engage with the Squad to offer feedback on work-in-progress and clarify requirements
- Engage with Chapter Leads regarding resourcing and functional expertise required in Squad, aligning on requirements and responsibilities
- Provide feedback as part of performance management of Squad members and other members of the Product Portfolio

- Collaborating with the development team on feasibility assessment, change/UX on usability, and ensure that it works within the constraints of the business, communicating to audiences across BCG and the world. You build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, and know how to deliver effective and engaging presentations
- Define and track KPIs that helps get the squad and products closer to the OKRs.
- Identifying problems and opportunities to innovate across a portfolio of products
What You'll Bring
- Experience building GenAI/AI and user-facing products
- A background supporting the build of new software in enterprise settings
- 6-8+ years' relevant experience as a product manager/analyst, business analyst or scrum master
- Relevant experience in various AI or technology-driven products
- Understanding of agile principles and ways of working
- Good understanding of technology enabled business transformation, Digital transformation, Organizational transformation, delivering enterprise-level IT and Digital projects
- Strong knowledge of current GenAI technologies and their application to delivering actionable insights
- Strategic thinker who can converge ideas into tangible products
- Highly organized & proactive resource manager
- Strong communications and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with JIRA or similar tool a plus
- Experience with Tableau, PowerBi or Alteryx is a plus
- Experience in consulting is a plus
Who You'll Work With
- Every member of your squad (including development, design, and QA), for which you will be its product leader
- Internal customers, translating their voice and needs into user stories and engaging users as needed
- Product Owners to align on priorities, dependencies and best practices
Additional info
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
Some local governments in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of base compensation. We expect your total annualized compensation to be approximately the following:
- In Chicago the base salary is between $122,000- $148,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
- In other locations, competitive pay is commensurate with the role and geography
- Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-16%
- 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
