POSITION SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This position determines liability for guest's personal property damage and non-injury claims, reports on findings and brings resolution to product and general liability claims. Licensed Claim Representatives will review all liability determinations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Processing product liability, personal property and non-injury general liability claims.

  • Interviewing employees and guests with knowledge of a reported event and making a liability determination based on the investigation.

  • Review surveillance footage to assist in determining liability.

  • If a claim is denied, explain rationale to guest and prepare denial letters.

  • If guest's injury needed medical treatment, give appropriate instruction and

  • information on how claim will be further processed.

  • Clear and concise documentation of incident related activity including investigation, photos, video, and recorded statements.

  • Process payments of third-party vendors invoices.

  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Provides administrative support to Claim Representatives by requesting medical records, preparing contact letters and other outgoing correspondence.

  • Collaborate with guest relations on claim submissions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Graduate or above

Experience: Minimum 1 year of administrative experience required. Working knowledge of food preparation and full-service restaurants a plus.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office products, database programs, and email programs required

Other Skills: Interpersonal phone skills
