The Finance Analyst in BAP will have a direct impact on the Advanced Industrial Solutions strategic business unit, within the Energy & Sustainability Solutions segment of Honeywell. This challenging, high-exposure position is an excellent developmental opportunity for someone who aspires to hold leadership roles within Finance. This role requires you to act as a business partner to demonstrate insight of financial analysis techniques, tools and concepts to provide practical counsel to drive results.
In October 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
You will report directly to the AIS BAP Sr Finance Manager and you'll work out of our Morris Plains, New Jersey location on a hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conduct financial analysis within the planning function for the finance department
* Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & the monthly forecasting process (SRO) as well as actively participate in the Strategic Plan (STRAP)
* Assist in managing the month end close process.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial plans and budgets
* Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Manage the weekly tracking of revenue and orders for the commercial pulse for senior leadership
* Support the preparation of weekly financial presentations for senior leadership

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles supporting a production site.
- 2 years of SAP experience
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in the energy or sustainability industry.
- Knowledge of financial planning and analysis best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
