As aField Service Engineer II - Industrial Automation & Process Controlhere at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation & Process Control business unit. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business.

You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Albany, NY service area.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for our customers
    * Provide advanced technical support and expertise for our Industrial Automation & Process Control solutions
    * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions
    * Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers
    * Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement

The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $68,000-$102,000.Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on complex technical solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Industrial Automation & Process Control technologies, including flow, temperature, LEL, pressure, 4-20mA, Thermocouple, RTD, Thermal Oxidizers, liquid level, and Ultrasonic Level and Detection
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in project management and execution
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
