The 7-Eleven Executive Recruiting team is responsible for identifying, qualifying and assessing executive talent for our most senior executive positions across the enterprise.
We are looking to hire an Executive Recruiting Manager who will be responsible for the full lifecycle of an executive search process from the initial intake, through to a successful hire being made. These assignments will be delivered across the enterprise in partnership with business leaders. In addition, the team supports the succession planning efforts across the enterprise and is responsible for building and nurturing external talent pools for areas of critical need.
You will work with the Executive Recruiting team to design and execute appropriate sourcing and recruiting strategies, including building effective networks and relationships to create an on-going pipeline of candidates. As the initial point of contact, you will promote our culture to candidates and positions us as an employer of choice by enhancing/communicating our employer brand strategy to both candidates and the community.
This role is 100% in office at the 7-Eleven Store Support Center in Irving, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a talent consultant to our executive leaders: identify, engage, assess and present talent for specific search assignments and speculative opportunities across the 7-Eleven enterprise.
Build pipelines of highly qualified and interested executive level candidates by proactively approaching and recruiting top level talent from a range of sectors and specialties.
Develop market maps, identifying industries, sectors and individuals who have the cross-industry skills and capabilities to be successful.
Create effective and compelling presentation of the role that is to be shared with the market and prospective candidates.
Help manage all related administrative duties related to the search process including status reports, candidate assessments and timely feedback to both the candidates and business.
Utilize variety of sourcing and ATS Software (LinkedIn, Indeed, Paradox, Workday, etc.) to manage recruitment process.
Serve as key point of contact for external search firms managing the recruitment process for executive hires.
Responsible for utilizing external sites including networking sites, association specific industries, SHRM and others as needed.
Ensure compliance with all hiring policies and practices, meet and exceed established metrics and goals and demonstrate company culture and values through their work.
Keep a pulse on market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive in talent acquisition.
Track and report key sourcing metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field of study; and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience including recruiting and hiring executive level candidates (Director to Chief).
Strong knowledge of talent sourcing techniques and tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively build relationships and network with candidates and internal partners.
Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
