Executive Assistant, Chief Business Leader of Connected Care
In this role, you will Report to our Chief Business Leader of the Connected Care Business Unit and will be a member of the team of Executive Assistants that supports our Executive Committee (ExCo). There is a great variety in the activities you do and the people you meet, which requires sensitivity and tact as our ExCo is entrusted with the management of Royal Philips at the highest level.
Your role:
- Supporting the Chief Business Leader in performing the effective leadership of Connected Care. This involves handling comprehensive and complex calendar management and conducting meeting preparations and complex and detailed visa/travel arrangements.
- Planning and organization (including logistics) of Leadership meetings, including off-sites, customer and site visits. Providing administrative support for preparations for the ExCo and Supervisory Board Committee meetings.
- Providing administrative support for budget and purchasing orders tracking; you also take care of expense reporting and travel booking for your leader in Concur.
- Performing entirely independently, delivering the full range of administrative tasks which involve a high level of responsibility and confidential matters; this also includes the tracking of important tasks and deadlines, both for your manager or for their direct reports.
- Acting as a first point of contact for internal and external business relations. Dealing with highly sensitive, complex, and confidential information.

- You’ve acquired 5 plus years of work experience as an Executive/Management Assistant in a fast-paced, dynamic, international environment.
- Your skills include excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; demonstrated track record of proactivity and willingness to take initiative, knowing how to set priorities under high pressure; ability to independently identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; escalate when necessary and look for solutions/improvement; have a natural assertive attitude and strong communication, organization and planning skills; your skills in Outlook calendar and mail management are of great importance.
- You have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related experience as Executive Assistant .
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You’re also available in the Cambridge office for at least 3 days a week, required; flexible (adapting to fluctuating workload), able to multitask and work with (tight) deadlines; both a team and independent worker, easily connecting to others and building a network; you can work with all levels in the organization. This role requires you to be very discrete, structured, and accurate with full-time availability.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in MA is $38/hour to $60/hour.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
