Parks, Recreation and Tourism is recruiting for an experienced, detail-oriented Environmental Services Supervisor.

In this vital role, you'll oversee custodial operations across city buildings and facilities, ensuring they're clean, safe, and welcoming to employees and the public. You'll be the go-to person for coordinating contracted housekeeping services, maintaining high standards, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day housekeeping operations across city facilities
- Manage vendor relationships and serve as the main point of contact for environmental service contractors
- Ensure all cleaning services meet the City's Housekeeping Cleaning Standards and Customer Care Standards
- Perform routine site inspections and quickly address any issues
- Assist with developing and managing contracts, budgets, and supply inventories
- Recommend and help implement efficient cleaning techniques and work processes
- Support the recruitment, training, and coaching of environmental services staff
- Monitor staff performance and assign tasks to ensure operational goals are met
- Keep accurate records of inspections, staffing, attendance, inventory, and expenditures
- Order supplies, uniforms, and equipment as needed
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and special city events, occasionally requiring schedule flexibility

- Experience managing contracts, schedules, and personnel in a facilities or custodial setting
- Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
