This person will be creating offline robot programs for download in a robotic production process. Coordinate with Regional Paint Engineer study, conduct the trial, evaluate based on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Supporting Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for sealer, UBC, and dampening coat robot processes. Or Supporting Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for primer, base, clear and interior robot processes. This includes leading all meetings with related groups, document creation, and supporting the plants in the process. Position will include about 10% travel to US, Mexico and Canada – please make sure that the candidates are aware of this. Position will report to the Digital Engineering Manager. Must be able to work with minimal direction and previous experience is required.
Requirements:
- Programing paint robots offline programming software or equivalent.
- Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications
- Experience with Digital Engineering
- Additional related certifications
Education:
- 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience
- 4 years technical degree or equivalent work experience

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38.97 to $43.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
