What does this role look like?

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electronics Engineering Associate Manager to lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems and subsystems.




Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

* Oversee the technical direction of projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
* Lead a team of electronics engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight
* Developing and managing project schedules and budgets
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams
* Mentoring engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
* Participate in the development of new technologies and processes to improve engineering efficiency and effectiveness. This will involve working closely with program management, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems and subsystems.




To be effective in this role, you will:

* Need to possess strong technical knowledge of electronic systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* 8+ years of professional experience.
* For this position, an active Final Top Secret or higher clearance is required to be considered, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

* Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics engineering

* Strong technical knowledge of electronic systems, including digital and analog circuit design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.

* For this position, an active Final Top Secret or higher clearance is required to be considered, thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
* Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
* Experience working on re-entry vehicle electronics, including design, development, and testing of electronic systems for high-temperature and high-G environments
* Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) or similar business management frameworks, including experience with goal-setting, prioritization, and progress tracking
* Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices, including requirements definition, system design, and integration
* Experience with lean engineering principles and practices, including continuous improvement and waste reduction
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex electronic systems and resolve technical issues.
* Experience with earned value management
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
