Summary of Position
Major responsibilities include managing and operationalizing Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston’s (BGCB) partnerships and ensuring they support our strategic direction and operational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partnership Management
Operational:
- In partnership with the VP of Operations, Impact, and Strategy, manage organizational partnerships and collaborations that support BGCB mission and vision. Including but not limited to stewardship, evaluation of effectiveness, contract management, and oversight of service delivery within the appropriate Core Program Area.
- Build and support partner consistency across nine Clubs. Manage and assess the strength and alignment of partnerships via the partnership scorecard. Identify and foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Manage various partnerships and collaborations that support BGCB operations and represent BGCB at partnership meetings, as required.
- Responsible for the data upkeep/record keeping of partnerships in MyClubHub database.
- Oversee the analysis of partnership data/feedback from nine Clubs (via Partnership scorecard).
- Manage and present annual Program Partners Report for program committee.
- Serve as the liaison to Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and assist with the implementation of club-wide national programs and any new program partnerships as required.
- Act as the primary BGCB liaison for coordinating with agency partners on programs and events (e.g., 1906 New Balance tournament).
Strategic:
- Support the exploration of potential partnerships and collaborative projects aligned with organization’s mission and vision.
- Develop and foster identified new partnerships that are aligned with BGCB’s strategic direction (academics, workforce, health & wellness, teen engagement, and staff training/development).
- Support the implementation of major program initiatives and ensure all elements of programming are high quality, well documented, and developed with buy-in and collaboration with Club staff.
- Support organizational-wide programming efforts aligned with strategic direction related to Academic Success, Workforce Readiness, and Health & Wellness.
- Support BGCB’s Evaluations & Outcomes team’s program evaluation process for mid and high cycle programs.
Other:
- Represent the Programming and impact department at various organization and community events.
- Assist BGCB’s Development team with partnership content and information.
- Travel between sites and to activities and events as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Work Demands)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years direct experience developing, delivering and/or managing programs for youth; experience in out-of-school time settings preferred, equivalent experience considered.
- Knowledge of trends in youth development programming and activities, professional development opportunities, curriculum design and related resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Positive and enthusiastic disposition
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Previous project management experience preferred.
- MS Office and web competency preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Driver’s License and history of safe driving, as well as willingness to access public transportation required.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range depends on relevant experience and internal equity: $79 - $100k
