Director Internal Communications

As a Director of Internal Communications here at Honeywell Industrial Automation (IA) and Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS), you will be responsible for leading and executing the internal communication strategy to engage and inform employees across the organization. Your role will involve developing and implementing communication plans, creating compelling content, and driving initiatives that promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and employee engagement. You will play a critical role in shaping the internal communication landscape and ensuring alignment with the business objectives of IA and HPS.

You will report directly to our Senior Director of Internal, Executive and CSR Communications for IA and work out of our Houston, Texas location on a Hybridwork schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the communication efforts and employee experience within IA and HPS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop and execute the internal communication strategy for IA and HPS
* Create and deliver engaging and informative communication materials, including newsletters, emails, presentations, and intranet content
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives
* Drive employee engagement initiatives and events to foster a positive and inclusive culture, and manage local volunteerism
* Manage communication channels and platforms to ensure effective and timely communication
* Measure and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and make recommendations for improvement
* Manage 1-2 direct reports

YOU MUST HAVE

* Minimum 8 years of experience in internal communications or related roles
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

WE VALUE

* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field or Master's degree in Communications or Business Administration
* Experience in the industrial automation or process solutions industry
* Proven track record in developing and executing successful internal communication strategies
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Knowledge of digital and social media platforms
