Our client, a global ad agency, is looking for a Digital & Print Production Artist to join their team onsite in Manhattan 40 hours per week, through the end of summer, potentially longer.
In this role, you'll be responsible for building production-ready files across a variety of media, ensuring each adheres to strict specifications and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Produce print-ready files for a variety of OOH formats (billboards, transit, etc.) with a strong understanding of large format printing requirements.
- Build digital assets for web and social media platforms, including static banners, ensuring they meet technical specifications and are optimized for performance.
- Work closely with producers and designers to understand project requirements and deliver assets to brief.
- Meticulously preflight and quality check all files before release, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain organized file structures and naming conventions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced agency or production environment.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of print production processes and techniques, including color management and file preparation.
- Proficiency in building digital assets for various platforms (web, social media, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for production.
- A quick learner of process and machinery
Bonus:
- Experience with figma production.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation (After Effects).
- Knowledge of large format printers, contour cutters and vinyl installation.
- Hand crafting, book maiking, workshop type jobs is a bonus
