Full Job Description
Description:As a Digital Content Creator on the Enterprise Operations team, you will be responsible for producing compelling, high-quality content for a variety of digital channels including the external website, social media, and internal conferences or events.
This role combines creative writing, video editing, and quality control to ensure that all digital content is aligned with company strategies and consistently maintains a high standard of creativity, engagement, and effectiveness.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the company's key priorities, turning communication strategies into clear, impactful content that resonates with our target audiences. You will also be responsible for editing video content and ensuring that the final product meets both technical and creative standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Content Creation:
- Write clear, engaging, and well-researched content for digital platforms, including the website, blog, social media posts, video scripts, and email campaigns.
- Develop compelling narratives and messaging that support company initiatives, business goals, and audience engagement strategies.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create content that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and other business priorities.
* Video, Graphic Design Content, Production & Editing:
o Edit and produce graphic or video content for digital channels, including website, social media, and internal communications. This includes trimming, color correction, adding captions, transitions, and ensuring videos are polished and aligned with company standards.
o Develop and script short-form videos, interviews, tutorials, and other multimedia content for digital initiatives.
* Content Quality Control & Consistency:
o Ensure all digital content, including written and video materials, meets high-quality standards for accuracy, grammar, visual design, and brand voice.
o Review and proofread content to maintain consistency across all platforms and ensure that all content is on-brand and aligned with messaging guidelines.
o Monitor content across digital channels and work to ensure it is always up-to-date, relevant, and in line with the latest SEO and industry best practices.
* Content Optimization & SEO:
o Implement SEO best practices in written content to drive visibility and traffic. Ensure that video content is optimized for platform algorithms and discoverability.
o Use analytics tools to monitor the performance of digital content and recommend improvements based on insights, trends, and audience engagement.
* Continuous Learning & Improvement:
o Stay updated on the latest trends in digital content creation, video editing tools, SEO, and social media algorithms.
o Bring new ideas, formats, and content techniques to the team, experimenting with innovative ways to engage audiences and achieve business goals.

Basic Qualifications:
* Content Creation Experience:
-10+ years of experience in digital content creation, including writing, video editing, and content management across websites, social media, and digital marketing platforms.
- Proven ability to create, edit, and optimize both written and video content for digital channels with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to engage audiences.
Skills:
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different formats and audiences.
- Video editing proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, or other video editing software. Knowledge of visual storytelling and post-production techniques.
- Strong visual eye for quality control, ensuring that both written and video content meets brand standards for design, consistency, and creativity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

* Creativity & Problem-Solving:
- Excellent creative thinking skills, with the ability to conceptualize and execute compelling video and written content that aligns with broader content strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot video or content issues and resolve them quickly.
* Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.), graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator), and familiarity with video and audio production processes.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, AEM) and project management tools
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, content management systems (CMS), and social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $99,800 - $187,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $86,700 - $166,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
