Our client, the in-house agency of a global beverage and alcohol brand, is currently seeking a freelance Designer / Art Director to join their team on an ongoing freelance basis, starting within the next 1-2 weeks. This role has the potential to convert in 3-6 months.
**Please note, this is ONSITE in Chelsea / Flatiron five days a week.**
The ideal candidate has experience / passion for selling brands to consumers who live active lifestyles and enjoy sports for the competitive and social benefits (i.e. golf, pickleball).
In this role, the Designer / Art Director will be working across brands, contributing to campaigns and focused on a range of design projects.
Our client is searching for a candidate who is experienced working in the digital / social space and has a pulse on current internet culture. Deliverables will span digital, merch, print, presentation, and social, but lean towards social and digital campaigns. As the Designer / Art Director onboards with the team, a lot of time will be spent getting to know the brand guidelines, versioning digital assets, and creating mock ups of how the brand will present across all channels (e.g., social, packaging, merchandise).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- Experience with After Effects and Figma is a huge plus!
- Portfolio that demonstrates 360 design for well-known brands
- Strong skills in photo retouching and comping
- Enthusiasm for collaborating in a group setting
- Comfort in presenting to clients and expressing ideas / vision
