Responsible for developing and maintaining the technical cyber security capabilities necessary for safeguarding the firm's information systems and applications. Will drive the design, implementation or improvement of security controls and processes that protect the banks enterprise network, systems, and critical third-party suppliers. Responsible for the continuous development and education of Senior leaders and their staff across Cybersecurity on the latest threats and mitigation methods.**Telecommuter/Remote optional**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Continuously monitor and identify new cyber security threats to the bank.
Lead highly complex and visible projects with notable risk and complexity
Develop/invent/improve highly innovative solutions across the Cybersecurity organization impacting multiple information security technologies, theories and/or techniques that achieve CCS strategy.
Educate senior cybersecurity leadership on new threats, tactics and techniques being used by malicious attackers.
Influence Senior Cyber Security leadership and their staff to adopt and own new security controls or improvements when identified.
Support cybersecurity leadership in the identification and evaluation of new controls, tools, and suppliers used to protect the bank.
Proactively engage with stakeholders across enterprise technology and all lines of business to make them aware and influence adoption of security controls, which includes managing up, out, and down to avoid surprises and position our solutions to be successful.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in systems engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Strong functional and technical knowledge of information/cyber security capabilities with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: Encryption, Data Security, Application Security, End Point Security, Identity and Access Management, Windows/Unix/Linux Systems Security, Mainframe Security, Perimeter Security, Network Security, Mobility Security, Cloud Security, Cyber Security, Cryptography, or Authentication Systems
Strong understanding of service lifecycle management, strategic planning, and the cyber security landscape
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or MBA and ten years of experience in business analysis or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Banking or financial services experience
8+ years of offensive security experience
Experience in leading large-scale complex technical projects from beginning to end
Demonstrated contributor to the security community (conference speaker, open-source projects, etc.)
Technical security certifications (e.g. OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, GXPN, etc.)
Other technical Certifications (e.g. Azure, AWS, CompTia, ISC2, SANS, etc.)
