Position Summary:
The Training Coordinator creates, develops, implements, and evaluates training for all Operations departments. Creates partnerships with Manufacturing and other departments on training projects and tasks. Handles a wide variety of general Training administrative functions and makes recommendations for improvements in all aspects of Training.
Responsibilities:
- Generate procedure change reports and incorporate the procedure changes into the training curriculum and manufacturing floor copies.
- Organize and maintain training records in the learning management system and ensure they are accessible for audits and other department needs.
- Collaborate with Training Leader, Operations Leaders, and subject matter experts to develop training materials.
- Maintain Job Training Curriculum (JTC) in LMS for manufacturing training qualifications.
- During training development activities, change standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job instructions (JIs) as required.
- Conduct Orientation training and other related logistic issues.
- Conduct training for manufacturing personnel as required.
- Gather data required for training related Kaizens and other events.
- Assist training leader in developing and reporting department's metrics.
- Performs other related assignments and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent work history required.
Two years of trade school, business school and/or associate's college degree preferred.
Certification:
Within two years of the start date, the incumbent must be proficient in train the trainer activities.
Experience:
Requires three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment and one-year involvement in training activities. Software and data entry experience working with computer-related systems. Experience developing spreadsheets and preparing reports in a business environment is required. Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Requires:
- Excellent verbal and written communication/organizational skills, tact, and diplomacy in interactions with others at once.
- Subject matter expert in the operation of manufacturing equipment and process preferred.
- The ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and schedule multiple tasks with minimal supervision and adjust to changing priorities and assignments.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in personal computing equipment and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others.
- Working knowledge of documentation practices preferred and ability to develop technical materials in support of a manufacturing operations environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for long periods and move about office, manufacturing, and warehouse areas. Able to work in an industrial environment where ladder use, stair climbing, reaching, bending, standing, stooping, pushing, and pulling is required. Ability to flex to off-shift schedules as needed for training and or Kaizen events.
Environment:
Exposure to disagreeable elements is moderate. Employee must wear protective eye wear, hair nets, uniforms, steel-toed shoes, and gloves when in production environments.
Safety:
The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law.
