As a Coordinate Measuring Machine Operator here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our manufactured parts. Using your expertise in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), you will perform precise measurements and inspections to verify that parts meet the required specifications. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes. You will report directly to our Quality Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Glendale, AZ location. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products by conducting thorough inspections and measurements. Your work will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations and help us deliver high-quality products to our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements and inspections of manufactured parts.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Conduct thorough inspections of parts to identify any defects or deviations from specifications.
* Record and analyze measurement data using computer software.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE
* Proven experience as a Coordinate Measuring Machine Operator or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operation and PC- DMIS metrology software
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. * Proficiency in using measurement software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
