Looking for an experienced Content Strategist.
Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, mission, and goals.– Commercial and B2B Experience is a must! * Development & execution of content strategy AND potentially some Content! * Development & alignment of editorial calendar with seasonal and key marketing beats and product launches. * Ownership of audience research & identifying new content opportunities * Proofread & Q/A articles for errors & ensure content alignment with strategy before articles are published. * Provide content marketing MBR insights/narrative, evangelize content hub internally to stakeholders and leadership team. * Facilitate testing/experimentation opportunities for UX/UI improvements. * Leverage and align to available brand guidelines, style guides, Microsoft frameworks, and assets to create consistent and compelling content hub articles that align with our product positioning and messaging frameworks. * Lead Q/A of content articles to ensure functionality of links, layout of articles, images are to spec and in alignment with requirements and content published is as intended. o Optimize content for search engines and conduct keyword research. o Remain a test bed for innovation through testing new technologies and cutting edge methods. Developing Commercial brand marketing creative that turns heads and drives business forward. The candidate will have a huge passion for their area of expertise, as well as a finger on the pulse of brand and visual pop culture. This Copywriter will work closely with Studio Producers, Creative Leads and the broader creative team to inject storytelling and copywriting for Commercial-facing marketing campaigns and related initiatives. You will have a versatile copywriting skillset, be naturally proactive and a very good collaborator. The candidate will be responsible for: Storytelling and copywriting for Brand Marketing for Surface and Windows. Brainstorming daily to match concepts & creative direction. Updating copy for existing static & motion creative assets based on creative direction from executives, product marketing, retail, PR (public relations), creative directors, art directors, & producers. Taking initial direction from Creative Director, Creative Lead team Designers & Producers for all creative storytelling tasks & project reviews. Completing projects with little guidance after initial direction via organizational & time management skills. Contributing to the creative process by proactively involving yourself with all aspects of studio creative asset development from brainstorming, concept expansion, sketching ideas, storyboarding, draft assets, review, & delivery of final print ready assets. The ideal candidate will have: 3-5 years creative experience copywriting and editing print/video materials or related industry experiences; preferably on an agile team in a fast-paced reactive development environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Detailed oriented PC design skills. An understanding of Microsoft, Windows, Surface, and Edge products is preferred. Understanding of storytelling for consumer marketing. Strong interpersonal communication and cross-team collaboration skills with the ability to balance multiple projects with short deadlines. High level of enthusiasm, ingenuity, self-motivation, resourcefulness, & drive for results in a fast-paced competitive space. Positive and team-oriented attitude. This is a contract position.
