Our Architectural and Interior Design client is seeking a Communications Coordinator. This will be a Full-time role, on-site in their downtown Dallas office.
The ideal Communications Coordinator will be entrepreneurial in spirit and opportunistic about communication tactics and strategies. They will work in partnership with their Shared Services Marketing Team in assisting the execution of external communication strategies. This role reports to the Director of Communications.
Communications Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining media lists.
- Developing media materials.
- Proactively and reactively working with media.
- Media monitoring and reporting.
- Writing content for various platforms like websites, social media, newsletters, promotional materials, and internal communications.
- Conducting research to support communication initiatives and strategies.
Communications Coordinator Requirements:
- Strong writing skills and knowledge of AP Style.
- At least 2-4 years of professional communications work experience
- PR agency experience preferred.
- A degree in journalism, communications, or related field is required.
- Experience with PR software such as Cision or Prezly or other comparable software for monitoring and analytics
- Knowledge of media relations and public relations best practices.
- Ability to work independently and proactively with good intuition.
- Deadline driven and a commitment to clear, tangible deliverables.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and fluidly prioritize workload.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
