Chief Engineer Principal - Processors and Displays

Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Chief Electronics Engineer - Level 6 to join the Processors and Displays (P&D) organization as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Mission Processing Subsystems. In this role, you will be performing electronics engineering functions in support of subsystem design, development, and integration of electronics related to Processors and Display Systems across a variety of Lines of Business, that include F-16, F-22, F-35, AMMM, and Advanced Development Programs (ADP). In this position you will interface with the customer, leadership and the suppler to ensure full lifecycle development from concept through production incorporation of P&D related products onto various platforms. This position will require a fulltime presents at the F-35 Integrated Core Processor (ICP) supplier, located in Palm Bay, FL. Specific focus on product stability to include performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for technical issues, test stand architecture and development to fully test the I/O during ESS and improve overall testing strategy.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's and/or Master's degree from an accredited college in Electrical, Computer or Electronics Engineering
* Proven experience in systems engineering lifecycle, development, requirements decomposition, and application of processes and tools.
* Proven experience performing RCCAs
* Professional experience with Digital Transformation processes, tools, common products, and infrastructure to improve the efficiency of the team's program execution
* Must possess a strong, thorough understanding in engineering product development as well as design disciplines
* Minimum 15 years of technical and leadership experience with demonstrated expertise in product engineering/development
* Must have led a significant team with both technical and people management responsibilities
* Extremely strong communication skills, strong organization skills, strong leadership skills, ability to delegate, and strong business acumen
* Must possess an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (minimum)
* Ability to travel regularly
Desired Skills:
* Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
* Experience presenting to senior leaders, program management, and external customers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Understanding of LM system engineering processes
* Experience with Military and/or Government programs
* Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance
* Previous or current relationship with F-35 program
* Familiarity and knowledge of Mission Processing Subsystems
* Experience with Hardware Product Engineering analysis and development processes
* Experience with Test System Development
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
