Purpose Statement

The Cereal Mix Advanced Utility Associate is responsible for the daily scheduling of Cereal mix personnel to ensure proper staffing in order to ship.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Directs the day-to-day activities of Cereal Mix Department.Such activities including scheduling, transferring material, 6's activities, PWI's, clearing work centers, sanitation, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
Maintains inventory accuracy of all finished goods, packaging and raw materials, manages all aspects of inventory control and cycle counting activities.
Generates productivity reports in regard to Schedule attainment,MLO, Efficientcy report and accounts for all labor hours, both direct and indirect.Adheres to budget requirements and works toward obtaining objectives and departmentgoals.
Responsible for maintenance of Cereal mix equipment, providing both preventive maintenance programs and all necessary repairs.
Ensures that the Cereal mix personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution function.Responsible for Cereal Mix safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for associates and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations.
Reviews daily shipment schedule (MD04), Review with Planning department, Shift Manager, Logistics Manager and Production Manager prioritizes daily work schedule to meet customer delivery requirements.Alerts team members to any discrepancy and update Premix schedule as needed.
Responsible for minimizing Material Handling waste of packaging, raw materials and finished goods.
Responsible for the motivation and development of Cereal Mixassociates to optimize their performance and their personal growth.
Ensures that proper GMP, sanitation and safety procedures are followed throughout the Cereal Mix department, and have corrected, or issue work orders to correct, any identified deficiencies.
Assists other departments in utilization of labor, sharing of information and cross training (serves as backup to fill in for PTO/line shortages.
Adheres to production schedules, assigning staff to ensure that production quotas are met for finished goods inventories.
Minimizes waste and cost and ensures conformance to safety and quality standards.
May organize the crews necessary for reconditioning product & product that is onHOLD.
Ensures Company standard practices and procedures are followed.
Identifies the temporary staffing needs of unit for the following day or week, and arrange for the presence and assignment of temporary or regular labor to the unit prior to line start-up.
Participates in weekly GMP, sanitation and safety inspections throughout the production departments and corrects, or issues work orders to correct, any identified deficiencies.
Follows up on work orders, with the appropriate Associates to ensure expeditious performance of the requested work.
Keeps abreast of latest manufacturing technologies and systems.
Performs other related responsibilities, as needed, to support Rich Products Corporation's business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• High degree of judgement required to insure precise weights and measurements are scaled and blended
