Scope of Position:
You will be responsible for Food Safety and Quality Assurance by managing line speed and efficiency, tracking and maintaining inventory levels and communicating with all areas of the department. You will be held accountable for all essential duties encompassed in the bakery supply areas. You must follow all OSHA and Plant Safety rules and will report to the shift supervisor.This is an onsite role. #LI-Onsite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
All areas:
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with company safety procedures and expected behaviors
- Fill out paperwork to track production, quality, downtime, and other requirements and enter data in the appropriate computer programs
- Perform all quality and weight checks, ensure line speeds, and make necessary adjustments
- Help train new members on the team
- Accomplish Master Sanitation (MSS) duties
- Continuously improve the production processes
- Explain product flow from the bakery to the warehouse
- Maintain inventory records and ensure rotation of materials for accurate traceability
- Perform any other duties as requested by the team leader and may require overtime
Bakery:
- Operate and troubleshoot the oven, mixer, and presses
- Get supplies and raw materials
- Wet and dry clean, foam and sanitize all equipment
- Identify good dough ball characteristics
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance
Qualifications:
To perform this job, you are expected to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
- Must have Microsoft software experience and maintain a Conagra Brands e-mail account.
- Must understand all SOPs, SSOP's and GMPs for producing quality product; report deviations and take appropriate corrective measures
Education and/or Experience:
You must have a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, you are required to use hands to finger; handle; or feel and reach with hands and arms. You are required to stand; walk; climb; balance; stoop; kneel; twist; crouch, and crawl. You must consistently lift and/or move 32 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds. While performing this job, you are frequently exposed to extreme heat and cold. You are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
