The Campus Recruiting Manager reports to the Director, Talent Acquisition. The position will develop and lead strategic initiatives related to on campus and internship recruiting that will identify and attract top early career talent to CareFirst.  The Campus Recruiting Manager will be responsible for owning stakeholder relationships and partnering with the business to drive hiring and lead adoption of best practices in hiring campus talent.  The position is a champion of our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion strategies and will create and execute campus recruiting programs to support these initiatives. The Campus Recruiting Manager is a leadership role that will manage, coach, and develop a small campus recruiting team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Campus Recruiting Manager will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop, direct, and execute CareFirst's Campus Recruiting strategy to attract exceptional early career talent.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Campus Recruiters.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to align campus strategy with business needs.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with external university career services, alumni organizations, student organizations, and diversity groups.
  • Drive Diversity, Equity & Inclusion recruiting initiatives to expand our diverse talent pipeline, partnering with our DEI team on key diversity initiatives and events.
  • Partner with talent acquisition team members on various topics including hiring, intern conversions, and recruiting events.
  • Keep a pulse on industry and current marketplace trends to ensure industry leading hiring methodologies.
  • Conduct program reviews and leverage data and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Establish core KPIs and success metrics.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business, or related field; in lieu of Bachelor's Degree, 4 years of additional relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years Campus Recruiting experience on a high-performing team required.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing or leading a campus recruiting team.
  • Experience building or re-designing campus recruitment programs.
  • Proven success in developing and executing campus recruiting strategies, including diversity recruiting initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining consultative, influential, and collaborative relationships with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders.
    Salary Range: $103,600 - $192,308

This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilites of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances, including but not limited to experience, internal equity, and location. In addition to your compensation, CareFirst offers a comprehensive benefits package, various incentive programs/plans, and 401k contribution programs/plans (all benefits/incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
