WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
Ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials into, within, and out of the warehouse.
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits using 5S principles.
Implement and carry out safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to meet company goals and customer expectations.
Monitor and report on critical metrics to track warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or staff performance.
Lead all aspects of the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

YOU HAVE:

High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered.
The ability to speak and write fluent Spanish
Forklift certification required. Can obtain within 30 days of employment.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
Experience in inventory control management and 5s principles
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts), Word, and PowerPoint presentations
Basic knowledge in project development.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Comfortable working in varying temperatures within the warehouse.
