Associate UX Designer
Position Overview
Our Retail client seeking an Associate UX Designer to support A/B testing on their flagship website. You'll turn consumer behavior hypotheses into wireframes and functional experiments using front-end technologies. This role blends UX design, front-end development, and data-driven optimization to enhance the digital customer journey.
This will be a 40 hour a week Freelance role starting mid-August and going for a year. It is Hybrid in the Sunset Hills, MO area, with Tuesday through Thursday being on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on testing roadmap and experiment execution.
- Design wireframes in Figma and develop tests using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Build and analyze experiments in Optimizely and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Use analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Contentsquare) to inform design decisions.
- Communicate test rationale and results to cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, UX/UI design, marketing, business, consumer psychology, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on creating ecommerce experiences using front-end programming languages.
- Design background with experience delivering front-end code (HTML / CSS / JavaScript).
- Experience designing mock-ups in Figma and executing experiments in Optimizely (or similar A/B testing tool), and/or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Familiarity with common site analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Contentsquare) to analyze consumer behavior on an ecommerce website.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for understanding consumer behaviors, needs, and expectations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, data visualization and presentation tools.
