As an Associate SOC Analyst reporting to the Manager, Cybersecurity Operations, you will protect Conagra's enterprise technology and data. This role is ideal for someone with a couple years of cybersecurity and/or IT experience looking to advance in the cybersecurity field. that helps to provide assurance for Conagra's critical assets and securely enable business functions. You will support the business as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Incident Responder conducting various level of incident response activities from initial triage, incident investigations, threat hunting, as well as some detection engineering with various assigned cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
You Will (Responsibilities):
Focus on protecting the system by monitoring security alerts (SOAR, SIEM, EDR, etc), investigating for potential incidents, and collaborating with teams to resolve them
Analyze events, prioritizing threats, and taking action following industry frameworks (I.e., NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-61v2, containment, eradication, recovery)
Monitor security alerts and events from various tools, sources, and services to conduct in-depth analysis, and identify root cause of incidents
Investigate and triage security alerts to determine the scope of impact, affected systems, and severity of threats while documenting case artifacts
Find and address emerging threats through cyber threat intelligence gathering and threat hunting activities
Perform analysis of collected data using specialized tools to detect and track intrusions on affected assets such as malware analysis in isolated sandbox environments
Use various security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and threat intelligence platforms
Provide timely and accurate reports on security activities, trends, and metrics to leadership and stakeholders
Commit to staying current with industry trends, emerging threats, and security technologies to improve SOC capabilities
You Have (Qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, MIS, or Information Technology, or similar STEM degree (desired)
1-3+ years in cybersecurity and/or IT relevant experience
Certifications such as GCIH, CEH, Security+, CySA+, CCNA etc. (desired)
Have scripting experience such as Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash, etc. (desired)
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and frameworks such as Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK.
Motivated and driven self-starter with strong investigative and learning skills.
Problem-solving abilities with an analytic and qualitative eye for reasoning.
Ability to communicate with all levels of audiences (subordinates, peers & leadership).
Ability to travel up to 10%
Ability to work onsite in Omaha 3 days per week: Tues, Weds & Thurs. Monday and Friday are optional Remote days.
We prefer applicants to be local to Omaha, NE.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
