At Lockheed Martin's Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) business, our Integration and Advanced Development team is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that support the mission-critical needs of our customers. Based in Manassas, VA, this team focuses on advancing training technologies to enhance the readiness and capabilities of the Submarine Multi-mission Team Trainer (SMTT) and the Combined Antisubmarine Warfare (ASW) & Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Trainer (CIAT) product lines.
THE WORK
As an Associate Program Manager, you will:
* Serve as the primary interface to the government Program Management Office (PMO) and Technical Authority.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Lockheed Martin and government sites to ensure program success.
* Manage program objectives, including technical, management, and cost targets, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Develop strategic plans to sustain and grow product lines.
* Lead contract and subcontractor engagements, as well as proposal efforts for new opportunities.
* Drive Risk and Opportunity Management by mitigating risks and leveraging opportunities to enhance program outcomes.
* Lead a diverse team in solving technical challenges and driving work through production.

Basic Qualifications:
* Technical skills sufficient to lead small programs
* Existing SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one
* Experience in a production environment
* Experience with the hardware development programs and development of test sets
* Manage cost, schedule, and technical baselines for small programs
* Demonstrated leading multidisciplinary teams
* Capable of managing, developing, and submitting small proposals
* Demonstrated strong customer relationship skills
* Experience with managing subcontractors
* Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM), program scheduling, Earned Value Measurement (EVM) experience with Comprehensive Estimate at Completion (CEAC) analysis and reporting
* Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
Desired Skills:
* Experience with the US Navy NAVSEA Program Executive Offices (PEOs)
* Experience working with Naval Sea Systems Command (NSWC) Carderock or Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC)
* Understanding of virtualized systems
* Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience
* Experience with Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
