Our global telecommunications client is looking for an Associate Director of UX Research to join their team in a permanent role!
This role requires onsite presence 5 days per week.
The Associate Director of UX Research will be part of the client's innovation product strategy team. Highlights of this role include leadership and coaching of UX Researchers, running research program for specific projects and translating research insights into requirements.
Products heavily focus on innovative customer job-to-be-done experiences and service design.
Associate Director of UX Research Capabilities
- Direct 3 - 5 UX researchers in the design and analysis of qualitative and quantitative studies
- Coach team of UX researchers to ensure alignment with research programs and objectives
- Collaborate with leadership to define product and UX research strategy
- Using existing framework, translate research insights to product strategy requirements for product partners or coach UX researchers to translate, develop presentation decks and present to leadership as needed
- Work with UX, product and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize research projects
- Develop goals and success measures to gauge effectiveness of research studies
- Forecast resource needs across projects
- Share research methods, rigor, and best practices to scale research performed by UX, product management, and other teams
Associate Director of UX Research Requirements
- 8+ years' experience performing and leading UX research in a product-development environment
- 2+ years' experience leading and developing UX researchers
- Expertise in qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies, especially generative and evaluative methods
- Proven record uncovering, synthesizing, and distributing actionable insights that informed product strategy and decisions
- Experience facilitating cross-functional working sessions
- Strong understanding of the "jobs-to-be-done" framework, focused on customer goals to "get a job done"
- Experience developing product strategy requirements from research insights
- Human behavior related Master's or PhD OR equivalent experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing case studies
