Associate Director - Global Security Executive Protection/Workplace Violence Program
Position Description:
The Global Security Group (GSG), Associate Director for Executive Protection/Workplace Violence responds to urgent, and sensitive matters across the Company, and takes timely action as per policies and procedures to adequately mitigate, resolve, escalate or otherwise appropriately address the issue at hand. In this role, the Associate Director will be primarily responsible for the protection of our executive leadership. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive executive protection strategies, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating security measures to ensure the safety of our executives. The Associate Director will also respond to workplace violence matters as needed. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues in Human Resources, Legal, the Global Ethics Program, and Global Employee Health. The Associate Director will also collaborate with trusted vendors to develop and deliver Global Workplace Violence Training, including Active Assailant training.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination of the Executive Protection of Senior Leadership.
Directly support select Company meetings, acting as the POC for meeting planning agencies, Company meeting planners and on-site security.
Assist with the update of Executive Protection Program SOPs in the areas of meeting security and Executive Protection Driver Operations.
In the absence of the other Executive Protection, Associate Directors, collaborate directly with our Company's Aviation Services to support domestic/international travel by Executive Team, residence security, Company meeting security and intelligence dissemination.
Assist with scheduling and management of meetings with internal stakeholders; Executive team drivers, external security contacts to include law enforcement and security vendors.
Assist with Executive Protection driver and GSG training initiatives.
Assist with workplace violence cases/investigations and ensure timely resolution of concern(s), and monitors threat of violence activity in collaboration with business partners (i.e., Human Resources, Legal, Global Ethics Program, and Global Employee Health).
Assist in creating multiple Global Workplace Violence training and education programs for various domestic and international audiences.
Assist in the coordination within GSG, business units, site security and law enforcement to ensure North America sites have Active Assailant plans in place.
Collaborate with various business units to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships.
Develop strong working relationships with management at all levels.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Required Minimum Experience and Skills
10 years of relevant experience in Intelligence, Military, Law Enforcement, Corporate Security, or other fields related to executive protection security, crisis management, active assailant response and workplace violence matters.
Prior managerial and leadership experience.
Excellent oral communication and inter-personal skills.
Excellent written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining collaborative solid working relationships with colleagues across the enterprise to include contractors, other external contacts, and to work effectively in a high-performing forward thinking team environment.
Proven ability to work with highly confidential information and interact comfortably with Executive level leadership.
Expertise in Case Management Systems.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize security needs to meet multiple deadlines.
Ability to work in highly collaborative and matrixed environment.
Strong analytical skills with proven ability to apply knowledge.
Must be innovative and independent, able to manage an aggressive workload in a high performing environment.
Experience in the planning of complex operations.
Experience operating in an international context.
Microsoft Office skills.
Knowledge of our Company's product portfolio.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Able to travel globally approximately 25% of the time.
Master's degree.
Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) and American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$126,500.00 - $199,100.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
