The Hyatt Centric Key West is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our amazing team. The Hyatt Centric is centrally located within Old Town and a short stroll to the lively Duval Street.We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Front Office Manager to help lead our Front Office team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. In this hands-on leadership role, you will support daily operations, ensure service excellence, and play a key role in colleague development.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in overseeing the Front Office team, including guest services, check-in/check-out operations, and room assignments
- Monitor cash handling procedures and maintain accountability among team members
- Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and daily shift operations
- Provide on-the-job training, performance coaching, and staff development opportunities
- Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere that supports both guest and colleague satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a hotel front office environment

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
- 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms experience preferred
- Minimum of one year previous Front Office supervisory experience
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
- Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills with a friendly and engaging attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends
